What is Taylor Swift’s Zodiac Sign? What Else Is Revealed by her Chart?

What zodiac sign is Taylor Swift?

Singer-songwriter Taylor Swift has been wildly successful from an early age. Whatever upheaval happens, she has shown a remarkable ability to, well, shake it off. How can one not wonder, “What Zodiac sign is Taylor Swift?”

Born in West Reading, PA, as hinted by her 2019 song “The Archer,” Taylor Alison Swift’s Zodiac sign is Sagittarius. In astrology charts, the sign of Sagittarius is depicted with an archer’s arrow.  Taylor possesses many of the Sagittarius personality traits, such as her honesty, intelligence, and sense of adventure.

Astrology has much more to say about Taylor Swift than just her Sun sign. The trajectory of her career has been closely tied to the Saturn cycle – and her recent Saturn return introduced a promising new significant other, Joe Alwyn.

I discuss the Saturn cycle and her relationship with Alwyn in much more detail here: “What does astrology have to say about Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn?”

Taylor is in Good Company

Besides Taylor Swift, other famous Sagittarians include Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Nicki Minaj, and Miley Cyrus.

Those born under the zodiac sign Sagittarius are strong-willed, independent, and passionate. It makes sense that this astrological sign is full of star power and that so many great musicians and artists are Sagittarians.

Other famous Sagittarians are Billie Eilish, Tina Turner, Vanessa Hudgens, Ozzy Osborne, Charlie Puth, Rita Ora, Jay-Z, Frank Sinatra, Jim Morrison, Hailee Steinfeld, and more.

Taylor Swift’s Innate Intelligence

Not only is she incredibly talented, but Swift is also highly intelligent. Her musical and lyrical intelligence speaks for itself through her discography. Although she occasionally has co-writers, Taylor Swift writes all of her own songs.

Her talent as a writer shines through her poetic lyrics and the way that all her songs tell a cohesive story. Her body of work has met with consistent success ever since her self-titled debut album in 2006.

Not only does she write all of her own songs, but Taylor Swift has also written songs for several other artists, including Miley Cyrus, Calvin Harris, and Little Big Town. For Little Big Town, she wrote “Better Man,” which went on to win the award for Song of the Year at the 2017 Country Music Awards.

Swift’s writing even appears in the 2009 film, “Hannah Montana: The Movie.” In the movie based on the popular Disney Channel TV show, Miley Cyrus performs the song “You’ll Always Find Your Way Back Home,” which Swift wrote. She even made a cameo in the film.

Although she usually writes under her own name, sometimes Swift uses a pseudonym when writing songs. For example, the hit single, “This Is What You Came For,” performed by Swift’s then-boyfriend Calvin Harris and Rihanna, was written by Swift under the pen name Nils Sjoberg.

Sagittarians Speak Their Mind

Sagittarians are courageous and never afraid to speak their minds. A true Sagittarius, Taylor Swift is informed and opinionated and shares her viewpoints with her millions of fans and followers worldwide.

Swift proudly shares her political views with her followers, even though it may cost her some fans. Early in her career, she held back from attempting to influence the votes of her following, but in more recent years she has become quite politically outspoken.

Taylor Swift has endorsed political figures such as Phil Bredesen for Senate and Jim Cooper for the House of Representatives in 2018. She has spoken out against gun violence and in support of LGBTQ rights.

She also doesn’t shy away from calling out people who have done her wrong in her personal and professional life. Of course, some of her best work is inspired by heartbreak and mistreatment from her famous exes.

A couple of the odes to her past lovers are “Dear John,” a scathing takedown of former flame John Mayer, and “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” reportedly about ex Jake Gyllenhaal.

Swift has engaged in several infamous feuds with celebrities like Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, and Nicki Minaj. She has made public efforts to reconcile with all of them.

She has also feuded with Scooter Braun, entrepreneur and manager of some of the biggest names in Hollywood, including Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Usher, and Kanye West.

Taylor is Fiery and Passionate

Each sign of the zodiac is affiliated with one of the natural elements: earth, fire, air, or water. The three fire signs of the zodiac are Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius.

Fire signs are naturally passionate and zealous, and Taylor Swift certainly matches that description. Everything she does, she does with her whole heart, from writing songs to supporting equal rights.

Like the element they are named after, fire signs are excellent at overcoming obstacles by breaking through barriers. This makes them great achievers who can be successful at anything they put their minds to.

At their best, fire signs are determined, dynamic, fun-loving, and compassionate. At their worst, fire signs can be impatient, destructive, and overbearing.

Taylor Swift clearly exhibits the positive aspects of a fire sign. Her determination and dynamism are evident in her professional success, and her compassion shines through her charity work and philanthropy.

She Fights for Justice

Sagittarians fight for what they believe in, and Taylor Swift has shown her passion for various causes.

Swift has publicly battled with Apple Music and Spotify over streaming service policies, defending the rights of artists over their work and intellectual property.

She has been quite vocal about her stance on equal rights for the LGBTQ community. Her lyrics and music video for the song “You Need To Calm Down” from her 2019 album Lover clearly show her support for the LGBTQ community.

Taylor Swift is also a staunch supporter of other women and fights for the equality of the sexes. She is known for promoting and uplifting her female friends and peers and examines the differences between the treatment of the genders in her song and video “The Man,” also from the Lover album.

She has fought against sexual assault, including taking a man to court who touched her inappropriately during a meet and greet.

She won the lawsuit, which was for just one dollar, and placed a symbolic dollar bill as an Easter egg in her video for the song “Look What You Made Me Do” from her 2017 Reputation album.

She Embraces Travel and Adventure

The symbol for the zodiac sign Sagittarius is the archer, symbolized by an arrow. The archer is a centaur, a mythical creature that is half-man and half-horse, wielding a bow and arrow.

The centaur and the arrow represent the Sagittarian love of freedom, travel, and adventure, all of which Taylor Swift appreciates.

As a wildly successful entertainer in the music industry, Swift performs on stages all over the world. Judging by the ticket sales for her live shows, life on the Road certainly suits Swift.

She Loves Her Sign

Taylor Swift connects to her astrological sign on a profound level, as evidenced by her countless references to her date of birth and star sign.

Born on December 13, 1989, Taylor Swift has professed that 13, her date of birth, is her favorite number. Although widely considered an unlucky number, clearly the date hasn’t had any negative impact on Swift’s personal or professional life.

Taylor invokes innumerable references to her birth date and lucky number, from her, Twitter handle @taylorswift13 to using the number to decorate the boxes of her popular fragrances.

Although not directly related to her Sagittarius sign, Swift showed her love for her birthdate again by naming her 2014 album, 1989, after her birth year. It is widely considered her most famous and successful album and famous singer-songwriter Ryan Adams even covered the album in its entirety.

Finally, Taylor references her sign symbol in the title of her song “The Archer” from the 2019 Lover album.

She is Generous

Sagittarians are naturally generous, and Taylor Swift embodies Sagittarian generosity. She is involved in several charities and has donated millions of dollars to worthy causes.

Not only is she a philanthropist, but she is also humble about her generosity. She never announces or shows off her charity work and financial gifts, unless it’s to encourage her fans and followers to contribute.

Some of Swift’s innumerable generous acts include donating $4 million towards a new education center in Nashville, $100,000 to the Nashville Symphony, and $113,000 to the Tennessee Equality Project.

She has also donated her time and possessions, such as concert memorabilia, and has worked with various foundations to support charitable causes.

She is a Good Friend

Taylor Swift is known for supporting other women, especially her peers in the entertainment industry. She has a famous “squad” of female friends who uplift and support each other. Some of her posse include Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez, Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevingne, Lorde, and many more.

In 2015, she released the music video for her song “Bad Blood” from her 2014 1989 album. The video features a plethora of celebrity women, all of whom are friends of Swift.

The video is meant to empower women to come together as a force for good.

I love my Asakuki Diffuser, I have this going in my living room or my office with either peppermint or lavender. The diffuser holds more water than other diffusers and lasts longer. It also has a timer so that I doesn’t run dry. The Diffuser adds a nice gentle scent to my home.

I also love having my White Sound Machine and my Asakuki Diffuser running in my living room. Sometimes I will choose the sound of rain or the ocean or even thunder. It depends on my mood.

I’ll fill the diffuser with lavender or peppermint. With the thunder in the background and the smell of peppermint, it’s like being whisked away to a faraway place!

I really love the Himalayan salt Lamp and my Crystal Tree of Life. I have them in my office and they create a “zen” feel for me while I’m working.
